Website Infrastructure, Security & Compliance Policy

At Automate Horizon, we believe in empowering creators while ensuring the safety, legality, and stability of their digital businesses. This policy outlines how we manage the infrastructure of the websites we host, our security protocols, and the compliance standards required for operating in high-risk industries.
1. Our Core Philosophy: Your Ownership, Our Protection
We recognize that your website is your digital property. We fully respect your creative control and your right to manage the content, images, wording, and “look and feel” of your online business.
However, operating in the Adult and Dropshipping sectors brings specific legal and financial responsibilities that standard businesses do not face. Our role is not to censor your vision, but to act as your Compliance Guardrails. We ensure that your creative choices do not accidentally cross legal or financial lines that could result in site shutdowns, payment freezes, or legal action.
2. How We Work: The "Condo Manager" Analogy
To explain our role, it helps to view our hosting environment like a secure Apartment Complex.
- You are the Condo Owner: You decide the decor and the furniture. You have autonomy over your “Front-End” design.
- We are the Building Managers: We maintain the foundation, the electrical wiring, and the locks (Security). But we also enforce “Zoning Laws” (Legal Compliance). Just as a Condo Manager must ensure a resident isn’t violating codes that could get the whole building fined, we must ensure your content stays within the legal framework of hosting and payment laws.
3. Content Classification & Age Verification (AV)
To protect our clients from Federal and State fines (USA/UK/EU), we distinguish between two types of content on our network.
- “Artistic Nude” (Standard): Clients have creative freedom here, but the line between “Artistic” and “Suggestive” is often grey. We advise caution to avoid crossing into restricted categories.
- “Explicit/Restricted Content” (Requires AV): If a website features explicit content, Age Verification (AV) software is a legal requirement. To host this content, we must integrate third-party AV software (which incurs setup and per-user fees).
4. The "Invisible" Tools We Maintain
We run specific background software to ensure every site on our network remains safe and visible.
- The Security Guard (Wordfence): Bots constantly search the internet for outdated software to launch DDoS attacks. We update Wordfence to block the latest threats. Disabling this exposes the site to immediate attack.
- The Street Signage (Yoast SEO): This handles the “Digital ID” for Google. Because social media accounts in the adult industry are frequently banned, we provide clients access to Yoast Social Settings. This allows clients to update their “Digital ID” themselves if they are forced to rebrand their social handles.
5. Financial Infrastructure: Payment Gateway Exclusivity
Effective for all Merch Stores and Websites as of January 1, 2026.
To protect our clients’ revenue streams, Automate Horizon exclusively supports CCBill for all payment processing. We do not support Stripe, PayPal, or Square.
- The Reason (Risk Management): Mainstream providers like Stripe and PayPal have aggressive “Moral Clauses.” They frequently freeze funds and close accounts simply for being associated with Adult Creators, even if specific transactions (like Merch) are legal. In our experience, these providers pose a significant risk to business continuity.
- The Solution: Automate Horizon is a certified CCBill Preferred Partner. They are adult-friendly, their accounts are free for our clients, and they do not pose a risk to your income. We manage the technical integration to ensure payments never stop.
6. Our Hosting Environment: Enterprise-Grade Infrastructure
All websites are hosted on our
Enterprise-Grade Cloud Infrastructure. Unlike standard “cheap” hosting, we provide a premium environment designed for speed and security.
- Managed IP Reputation: Your website resides on a strict Agency-Dedicated IP, exclusive to the Automate Horizon network. We do not host your site on public shared IP pools where “spammy neighbors” from other companies can ruin your reputation.
- NVMe Storage: We use industrial-grade storage for maximum speed and performance.
- Isolated Resources: While clients live in a “Shared Community,” every website runs in an isolated container. This ensures that every site has dedicated power (RAM/CPU) that other websites cannot steal.
Because of this shared (but isolated) environment, we have a strict “Fire Safety” protocol. We must run security updates to keep the server safe. An unmaintained site is a risk to the entire infrastructure.
7. Policy on Self-Management (Opt-Out)
We strongly advise against stopping security maintenance. Ignoring Age Verification laws, CCBill compliance, or Security updates exposes a business to significant legal and financial risk.
However, clients wishing to prohibit Automate Horizon from performing these checks may request to transition to “Self-Managed Status.”
By choosing Self-Managed Status, the client acknowledges:
- Unmanaged Service: The client will be provided with raw website files and a database export. They are responsible for migration.
- Hosting Isolation (Required): Because an unmaintained site poses a security risk to our secure cloud, we must move the website to an isolated Virtual Private Server (VPS).
- Technical Requirement: Managing a VPS requires Advanced Linux & Command Line knowledge. We provide the server infrastructure, but we do not maintain the software.
- Cost Increase: Isolated VPS hosting incurs a significantly higher monthly fee than our shared cloud packages.
- Liability: The client assumes full responsibility for Security, Age Verification, and CCBill compliance.
